DESCRIPTION:The traveling education program “Talking Bees Roadshow” is presented by H-E-B\, in partnership with Healthy Hive Foundation to provide free bee education across Texas. These high-impact talks for all ages are made possible through a grant from H-E-B’s Our Texas Our Future Program. \nJoin us September 2023 through June 2024 for our first Talking Bees Roadshow\, coming to greater Dallas\, Houston\, San Antonio and Austin area public libraries. Certified Master Beekeeper\, Konrad Bouffard of Round Rock Honey will teach the sessions. DESCRIPTION:One in 36 children nationwide are diagnosed with autism. \nIn Bexar and surrounding counties\, over 30\,000 individuals are on the Autism spectrum. That means that you or someone you know has a close connection to a child or individual who lives with autism and whose daily lives are challenged by this diagnosis. \nFounded in 2003 with 200 participants\, the Any Baby Can Walk for Autism has grown into an official Fiesta® event and official Mayor’s Fitness Council event\, bringing together over 6\,000 participants and community partners from San Antonio\, Bexar County\, and South Texas to provide services and support for families raising individuals on the spectrum.
