H-E-B Operation Appreciation, MCEC and The Comfort Crew for Military Kids visited select Texas schools for the “With You All the Way!” tour, an engaging and educational presentation that emphasizes the importance of caring and developing valuable strategies for dealing with the unique challenges of military life. Led by award-winning TV personality and children’s book author, Trevor Romain, the “With You All the Way!” tour has reached over 1 million kids in 16 countries since 2010.

Gratitude Initiative in Texas

H-E-B Operation Appreciation and Gratitude Initiative traveled across Texas to award military students with scholarships for GI’s College and Career Prep program. Over the past two years, H-E-B has sponsored fifty-five students in grades 8-12 in the GI College Success Academy Program, providing service from the time of enrollment until college graduation.
The students are from families of active-duty military, veterans, disabled veterans, Texas National Guard, and those killed while serving our country.

H-E-B Operation Appreciation teamed up with MCEC to visit select schools, hosting a powerful presentation on connection, engagement, and service, led by award-winning youth motivational speaker, Tom Krieglstein. This initiative celebrates the Month of the Military Child in April, honoring the resilience, strength, and sacrifice of military students. Throughout the year, H-E-B’s Operation Appreciation continues to support, honor, and provide employment opportunities for military service members and their families. #HEBOperationAppreciation

Since its establishment in 2007, Folds of Honor has proudly awarded over 51,000 scholarships to families across all 50 states. Importantly, our partnership has made a significant impact, resulting in over 50 life-changing scholarships that directly benefit recipients in the great state of Texas.
