The 2026 Lunar New Year Festival is a celebration of the Year of the Horse co-hosted by Asian Leaders Network (ALN) and Waco Downtown Farmers Market at the Bridge Street Plaza scheduled for Saturday, February 21, 2026 9am-1pm.

This will be our first Lunar New Year festival at the new farmers market location at the Bridge Street Plaza (200 E Bridge St Waco, TX 76704) with an event stage and performance schedule. We anticipate a vibrant cultural event with diverse performances (including Baylor University’s Lion Dance team, Baylor Kendo Club and Japanese Student Association, alongside local traditional dance performers from the Indonesian Cultural Center, and more), culinary & food truck experiences, and handmade artist market stalls showcasing Asian arts and goods alongside the regular WDFM farmers, produce, and food & beverage pop-up and handmade market vendors.
