Event Details
Enjoy hands-on crafts including pottery, textile arts, and upcycled crafts for all ages and skill levels. The Summer Make & Take series occurs every Wednesday throughout the summer from 12 to 2 p.m. Activities are included with Museum admission. Every week is a different craft, including the following activities:
- Screen printing with Mexic-Arte Museum
- Pinch pot making with Texas Historical Commission
- Weaving and textile arts with the Weavers and Spinners Society of Austin
- Asian painting with mindfulness teacher Sari Fujimaru
- Endangered Species art buttons with artist Juliet Whitsett
- Upcycled art
- Coffee burlap bag crafting
- Felt flowers
- And more!
