H-E-B and the San Antonio Spurs are back at it again with a lineup of fun-filled commercials, featuring performances by a cast of Spurs players new to the iconic spots. To tip off the Silver and Black’s 2021-22 season, H-E-B will roll-out nine commercials throughout the season and give fans a chance to win courtside seats to a Spurs game along with other prizes.

The 30- and 15-second spots will showcase a star-studded cast that includes Keldon Johnson, Jakob Poeltl and Derrick White. This year, Spurs players are involved in hijinks and funny moments in the locker room as they try to hit nothing but net with cheese balls, dribble gooey queso on their uniforms, and dream up their own creative ideas for future H-E-B commercials. And to drive home the two brands as San Antonio’s home teams, one commercial will even showcase real H-E-B Partners along with Spurs players as they affectionately share their fanatical love for one another.

 

 

“Each year, H-E-B looks forward to teaming up with the Spurs on these entertaining commercials, which have become favorites for our loyal customers and Spurs fans,” said Ashwin Nathan, H-E-B Vice President of Marketing and Advertising. “For more than 15 years, these iconic, award-winning spots have provided a fun start to the season, and this year, were excited to welcome some fresh, new faces to the set.”

Fans can enter the H-E-B Courtside Sweepstakes from now through Nov. 30, 2021 for a chance to win two courtside seats when the Spurs take on the Cleveland Cavaliers on Jan. 14, 2022, one signed San Antonio Spurs jersey, and more. The season’s first commercial will be televised during the season opener on Wednesday, Oct. 20. The remaining commercials will air in the San Antonio area during upcoming games. As they’re released throughout the year, fans can catch all commercials on H-E-B’s YouTube page and its other social media platforms. And for a limited time, fans can find H-E-B Creamy Creations Spurs Sherbet in freezers at select stores starting Nov. 1.
