H-E-B’s Big Game commercial blasts off with Texas-sized flavors

H-E-B is ready to blast off with Texas-sized flavors in this year’s Big Game commercial, which has a surprise appearance from one of the state’s most recognizable stars.

This year’s 60-second spot starts at a command center counting down to the launch of space craft, gearing up for a quick, leisure trip into space. Before the shuttle rides away, the crew makes an emergency call for supplies from H-E-B. The mission critical snacks are delivered before the thrusters ignite and, without leaving his chair, our celebrity welcomes them with a tip of a hat that will leave viewers with a smile.

The 60-second spot first aired during the Big Game in key markets throughout Texas during the local advertising break between the third and fourth quarters. A longer 90-second version of the ad is posted on H-E-B’s YouTube page.
