The 127,000-square-foot store will include the city’s first True Texas BBQ restaurant

H-E-B has opened its Pflugerville Parkway H‑E‑B, the retailer’s third store in Pflugerville. The 127,000-square-foot store will include the city’s first True Texas BBQ restaurant and showcase all the quality products and innovative services H-E-B customers have come to love and expect.

Filled with amenities and unique departments that H-E-B is known for, the Pflugerville Parkway H‑E‑B has distinctive features such as H-E-B Curbside with dedicated covered parking and Home Delivery; full-service H-E-B Pharmacy with two-lane drive-thru; fuel station with car wash; and Texas Backyard, which offers products for gardening and outdoor entertaining.

The store is located at 2641 E. Pflugerville Pkwy. and is open seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

As an added amenity, the store also will introduce the community to a True Texas BBQ restaurant with indoor seating. While H-E-B operates more than 30 True Texas BBQ locations across the state, the restaurant at the new store is the first to open in Pflugerville. True Texas BBQ serves all-natural meats that are smoked in-house over Texas oak wood as well as sides such as brisket beans, creamed corn, homestyle potato salad and more.

The thoughtfully designed H-E-B store will offer a world-class shopping experience with an emphasis on fresh, top-quality food options at H-E-B’s celebrated everyday low prices.

With expansive product assortment and several convenient services customers come to expect from H-E-B, other amenities will include:

  • Full-service Bakery and Tortilleria that offers a wide selection of artisan breads, fresh tortillas made in house, large varieties of decadent desserts, pastries, and cakes

  • Deli featuring a wide variety of cheese and made in-store charcuterie boards, party trays for all your entertainment needs

  • Produce section with large organic and Texas-grown selections, including fresh squeezed juices, and freshly made guacamole along with pre-cut fruit and vegetable trays

  • Fresh Seafood Market, including full-service seafood counter with a fresh assortment from around the world, delivered seven days a week

  • Fresh Meat Market offers natural, prime and wagyu meat cut in-store by certified meat cutters, as well as 100% pure beef ground in-store daily

  • As the #1 Beer and Wine retailer in Texas, the store has an extensive craft beer and wine section with almost 2,000 bottles of wine and 600 beer selections from Texas to around the world. Customers can also visit with our certified Wine Steward to sample our favorite wines, to create the perfect pairing, or plan their next party.

  • Blooms Floral department with custom arrangements and floral décor items, offering online ordering and delivery service

  • Healthy Living department featuring bulk food bins dispensing nuts, grains, dried fruits, and snack mixes, a robust selection of vitamins, sports nutrition and natural beauty products.

Inside and out, H-E-B designed the store to reflect the character unique to the Pflugerville community. The location incorporates environmental sustainability design elements and several energy efficient inclusions such as CO2 refrigeration units, LED lighting, and extensive native landscaping throughout the property.

In this spirit, H-E-B commemorated the store’s grand opening with donations that total $20,000, with $5,000 each going to the Circle of Hope Community Center, For the Children, American Legion Kerlin-Lyerly Post 154, and The Trail Conservancy, to support beautification efforts for the Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail.

In Oct. 1987, the company opened its first Pflugerville H-E-B store at 1434 Wells Branch Pkwy. In June 2000, H-E-B opened its second location in Pflugerville at 201 N FM 685.
