The Dallas Asian American Youth Orchestra (DAAYO) will present its May 10, 2026, concert featuring the String Explorers, Junior Strings and Concert Strings orchestras.
This season finale marks the culmination of the string orchestras’ year and promises a fun evening of music for the whole family, while showing support for local young musicians.
These three string orchestras form the foundation of DAAYO’s educational programs, drawing talented young musicians from across the DFW area. They rehearse once a week throughout the school year.
The ensembles are led by conductors Scott Arakawa (Concert Strings), Jenna Park (Junior Strings) and Angela Sledge (String Explorers).
