This vibrant festival brings together live cultural performances from across Asia and beyond, celebrating the rich tapestry of international traditions that make our community unique. Audiences can enjoy the festivities in person or tune in from anywhere in the world, as the event will be broadcast on STV Channel 21.8, streamed online at scdaily.com, and available through the Southern News TV mobile app.
In harmony with the Chinese lunar calendar, 2026 marks the Year of the Horse—a symbol of fortune, wealth, and love. Each year, the Texas Lunar Festival honors not only the Chinese New Year but also the diverse and impressive heritage of Houston’s many international communities.
