Both cards offer 5% cash back on products in H-E-B family of brands and 1.5% cash back on all other purchases at H-E-B, Central Market or any place Visa is accepted

H-E-B and Central Market have launched the H-E-B Visa Signature® Credit Card and Central Market Visa Signature® Credit Card, which have no annual fee¹ and offer customers unlimited cash back on groceries and everyday purchases, flexible redemption options, and additional cost-saving benefits. 

Both credit cards can be used to receive the 5% cash back benefit on the purchase of eligible items at H-E-B, Central Market, Joe V’s Smart Shop, and Mi Tienda stores and locations where Curbside and Home Delivery are available. To receive the 5% cash back benefit, customers must use the H-E-B or Central Market Visa Credit Card to purchase items in the H-E-B family of brands, which include thousands of products from H-E-B, Central Market, Hill Country Fare, Field & Future by H-E-B, H-E-B Brand Shop, Home by H-E-B, Kodi, Cocinaware, H-E-B Kitchen & Table, and GTC, among others¹.

Both cards also get the unlimited 5% cash back on all orders with Favor Delivery, the on-demand delivery service operated by H-E-B, as well as unlimited 1.5% cash back on all other products and purchases at H-E-B brand stores and locations such as H-E-B Fuel stations and H-E-B restaurants such as True Texas BBQ and SouthFlo Pizza¹.

Cash back benefits are not limited to H-E-B brand stores. Card users will receive unlimited 1.5% cash back for purchases wherever Visa is accepted, including movie theaters, gas stations, subscription services, online retailers, healthcare providers, and more. 

“At H-E-B, we’re always looking to create and adopt innovative, quality programs that give Texans more ways to save,” said Ashwin Nathan, H-E-B Group Vice President of Marketing. “With the H-E-B and Central Market credit cards, we’re offering Texans a more rewarding shopping experience that provides savings wherever they shop and gives H-E-B and Central Market fans a premium benefit on their favorite products.”

Additional benefits available with the H-E-B and Central Market credit cards include:

 The first 20,000 applicants approved for an H-E-B Visa Credit Card will have the option to choose a limited-edition H-E-B branded metal card, while supplies last. The first 10,000 applicants approved for an Central Market Visa Credit Card will have the option to choose a limited-edition Central Market branded metal card, while supplies last.

Credit check is required, and eligibility is subject to credit approval. Customers can complete the application electronically either online or through the Imprint app. Currently, applications are not available in store. There is no impact on a customer’s credit to see if they’re eligible for either card². Once approved, virtual cards will immediately be issued for customers to start earning cash back. Cardholders can expect to receive their credit cards in the mail within seven to 10 days after accepting their offer.

H-E-B and Central Market credit cards are separate credit accounts that must be applied for individually and require separate credit checks and approvals. To apply for an H-E-B credit account, visit heb.com/credit. To apply for the Central Market card, visit centralmarket.com/credit. 

Along with the rollout of the new credit cards, H-E-B also recently launched its H-E-B Debit Card account, which provides customers several benefits and perks. Among those benefits, the H-E-B Debit Card, which can be used anywhere Mastercard is accepted, gives cardholders 5 percent cash back on H-E-B brand products³
