Additional spots will roll-out throughout the season
H-E-B and the Houston Texans are back with some fun commercials to celebrate the new season on the gridiron. This year’s commercials include the spirited humor fans have come to expect, featuring a familiar lineup of Texans stars.
During the season opener, H-E-B released its first commercial, which features returning personalities quarterback C.J. Stroud and defensive end Will Anderson Jr. as well as H-E-B commercial newcomers wide receivers Nico Collins and Tank Dell. The spot, titled “Cookout Commentators,” has the lineup giving their hot takes on popular H-E-B products perfect for gameday parties.
H-E-B will release additional television and digital videos with the team throughout the season. One planned spot will even feature the Texans mascot, TORO, gearing up to meet someone special. A separate social media video shows Stroud and Dell picking their top H-E-B products in a mock fantasy draft.
As they’re released, fans can catch all Texans commercials and videos on H-E-B’s YouTube page and its other social media platforms. The commercials will be televised throughout the season in the greater Houston area. The marketing campaign also will include billboards and in-store signs.
As the Official Tailgate Headquarters of the Houston Texans, H-E-B is the place to stock up for gameday with fan favorites like H-E-B Prime 1 Beef, Meal Simple Brisket Queso, made-in-store guacamole, and our fresh H-E-B Bakery Tortillas. At Texans home games, tailgaters compete to be named the “H-E-B Tailgater of the Game” with the goal of being named “H-E-B Tailgater of the Year” at the conclusion of the regular season. Additionally, through the H-E-B Sacks for Hunger Program, H-E-B donates $1,000 to the Houston Food Bank for every Texans defensive sack during the regular and postseason.
H-E-B has been a sponsor of the Houston Texans since their inaugural season in 2002. This continued collaboration between H-E-B and the Houston Texans has led to numerous community investment projects and provided football fans and H-E-B customers with player appearances and appreciation events throughout the year.
