H-E-B Breaks Ground in Manor

 101,000+ sq. ft. store to be located east of Austin, off Hwy 290 and FM 973

H-E-B officially kicked off construction for its first store in Manor, Texas at Hwy 290 and FM 973. The Manor H-E-B will provide customers with an expanded product selection along with services and features, including Pharmacy pick-up spaces, a large Curbside area, a seven-pump fuel station, and a car wash. The store is expected to open in late 2025.

“It’s always an honor and a privilege to open our first store in a new community, allowing us to serve even more Texans,” said Cathy Harm, H-E-B Senior Vice President for Central Texas. “We look forward to meeting our new customers and serving Manor with a wide assortment of products and services and the best H-E-B has to offer.”

During the event, local H-E-B leadership surprised four local nonprofits with $5,000 each – Manor ISD Education Foundation, Healing with Horses Ranch, Manor Schoolhouse Foundation and, Jesse Samaripa American Legion Post 331.

The store is thoughtfully designed with contemporary Texas materials and will offer a world-class shopping experience with an emphasis on fresh, top-quality food options at H-E-B’s celebrated low prices.

With expansive product assortment and several convenient services customers come to expect from H-E-B, other amenities will include: 

  • H-E-B Curbside with dedicated parking and Home Delivery, allowing customers to shop online and pick up orders at the store or schedule delivery to their homes

     

  • Pharmacy with five convenient pick-up spaces

     

  • Full-service Bakery and Tortilleria that offers a wide selection of artisan breads, fresh tortillas made in house, large varieties of decadent desserts, pastries, and cakes

     

  • Deli featuring a wide variety of cheese and made in-store charcuterie boards, party trays for all your entertainment needs

     

  • Beer and Wine department with sampling a station and variety of local, national, and international labels

     

  • Wide selection of organic foods and dedicated Healthy Living department

     

  • Blooms floral department with custom arrangements and floral décor items

     

  • Fresh seafood market, including full-service seafood counter with a fresh assortment from around the world, delivered seven days a week 

     

  • Meal Simple area with chef-inspired options for quick and simple meal planning

     

  • Sushiya department, offering fresh, in-store made sushi and hot Asian grill selections, including fried rice and noodle bowls

     

  • Texas Front Porch, offering products for gardening and outdoor entertaining

     

  • Fuel station and car wash
