H-E-B celebrates San Antonio Spurs 50th anniversary with new Spurs Creamy Creations ice cream and sweepstakes to score custom sneakers and other prizes

This year, H-E-B will launch a digital video series featuring young stars from the Spurs.

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the San Antonio Spurs franchise, H-E-B has launched a new Spurs Creamy Creations ice cream and sweepstakes for a chance to score custom, one-of-a-kind H-E-B and Creamy Creations sneakers, courtside seats to a Spurs game, year supply of Creamy Creations ice cream, and more.

Available for a limited time, the H-E-B Creamy Creations Courtside Chocolate Crunch is a chocolate malt ice cream with chocolate rice crispy crunchies and chocolate swirl. The limited-edition ice cream is available in half-gallon and pint sizes and will be available throughout South and Central Texas including San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi, Laredo, and surrounding areas. The ice cream is made in San Antonio by H-E-B and is part of the company’s Select Ingredients line, which are products that are made without more than 175 artificial flavors, preservatives, and ingredients. Inspired by the basketball team’s storied history, H-E-B Partner, Nick Garza, designed the art for the new flavor’s silver, black, and gold packaging, which includes icons of championship rings, the Spurs logo, and the Spurs Coyote.

To sweeten the pot, H-E-B also launched a sweepstakes for a chance to win a slate of prizes, including custom H-E-B and Creamy Creations leather sneakers. For the shoes, H-E-B teamed up with San Antonio artist Jake Danklefs of Dank & Co. to create two different pairs of one-of-a-kind H-E-B and Creamy Creations Courtside Chocolate Crunch themed kicks. There are four pairs up for grabs that will be given to four lucky fans who enter the sweepstakes.

One pair will feature the iconic H-E-B red along the top stamped with Texas shapes and white along the sides. The other pair will have the same imagery and graphics as the H-E-B Creamy Creations Courtside Chocolate Crunch package design. Both will include the H-E-B logo on the tongue and 50th anniversary logo on the back.
