H-E-B, committed to ensuring the safety and quality of its products, is issuing a one-store recall for Country Pride Chicken Leg Quarters purchased on Monday, Oct. 5, 2020 at the H-E-B store located at 2314 S. Zapata Highway in Laredo due to the possible cold chain disruption. A small portion of this product may have been kept at a higher temperature, which could result in spoilage or the growth of microorganisms and could pose a health hazard.

This is an isolated incident and the recall only impacts Country Pride Chicken Leg Quarters sold at this one store with a sell by date of 10/16/20, which is found on the side of the bag. There have not been any reports of illnesses to date related to this recall.
