Newest H-E-B on the block marks 95th store in Houston area
H-E-B is proud to announce the opening of its newest store in the Houston area, H-E-B Madera Run, on Wednesday, March 6. The 117,000 square foot store, located at 16000 Woodland Hills Drive, is filled aisle to aisle with state-of-the-art conveniences, amenities, and the vast selection that customers have come to expect from H-E-B.
“This is my fourth store to open in the Houston area, and this will be a true neighborhood store,” said Carol Thelen-Sonnier, General Manager, an 18-year H-E-B Partner (employee). “My team and I are excited to be a part of this community, and the Partners working here will represent the area in the true Spirit of H-E-B.”
As the company grows its footprint across Texas, the Madera Run H-E-B is one of two stores that the retailer opened on the same day. In the San Antonio area, the company also opened its 110,000-square-foot Fair Oaks H-E-B in the Fair Oaks Ranch and Boerne communities, which is north of Alamo City.
With the new Humble store, H-E-B introduces this community to a shopping destination with a commitment to deliver unsurpassed freshness and quality at H-E-B’s everyday low prices. Filled with exciting amenities and innovations that H-E-B is known for, the store offers H-E-B Curbside and Home Delivery, which allows customers to place orders online or via the H-E-B app for pickup at the store or home delivery. For added convenience, the Curbside area has 14 covered spaces. These exciting digital services give customers choices on how they shop, pay for, and receive their products. Shoppers will enjoy our new walk-up Seafood Boil stand just out front – select from shrimp, crawfish, crab, or lobster and let H-E-B do the work.
Across the store, there are thousands of unique items such as Field & Future by H-E-B, household, baby, and personal care items that are clean and green. This growing line of more than 120 products features hypoallergenic formulas, biodegradable ingredients, recyclable packaging, and more. Or try Higher Harvest by H‑E‑B created for dietary lifestyles, including plant-based, carb-conscious, or gluten-free diets.
