To celebrate the dads in our lives, H-E-B stores across Texas organized a surprise giveaway of KODI tumblers in time for Father’s Day.

On June 14, in-store events were held at each of H-E-B’s five KODI stores where hundreds of durable, stainless-steel KODI tumblers were gifted to customers on a first-come, first-serve basis. Excited customers lined up in anticipation of the giveaway while eager shoppers enjoyed food samplings and posed for fun photos.

Additionally, H-E-B Curbside shoppers unwittingly were in for a surprise when picking up their orders. At select H-E-B Curbside locations throughout the Lone Star State, hundreds of customers also were gifted tumblers. Those who may have missed out on the Father’s Day surprise can still get their gift for dad by entering a Facebook sweepstakes for a chance to win a KODI tumbler.

“This is a fun way for us to show appreciation to all the fathers out there,” said Brett Ramsey, H-E-B Senior Buyer for Grills and Coolers. “Made tough, just like dad, our line of extremely high-quality outdoor products is designed with Texas families and outdoors enthusiasts as a top priority.”

The KODI brand, which launched in 2014, includes products such as rugged coolers with cold-locking insulation, and super-insulated drinkware that’s meant to keep cold beverages cold and hot drinks hot for longer periods. There’s also an assorted lineup of accessories such as ice molds, bottle openers, cooler trays and metal straws. Throughout the coming months, H-E-B will roll out new KODI items like the recently introduced KODI Duo stainless-steel water jug and KODI canteen, a 56-ounce thermos that has double-wall vacuum insulation as well as top cover that converts into a 16-ounce stainless steel tumbler.

In 2018, H-E-B opened its first KODI store in San Antonio. Currently, there are three KODI store locations in San Antonio, and one each in Leander and Corpus Christi. More locations are planned to open later this year.
