H-E-B to hold Texas-sized celebration for 2020 grads

On Wednesday, May 20, H-E-B will host a Texas-sized virtual celebration to honor graduating high school and college seniors in the Lone Star State. To make our graduating seniors feel special, H-E-B invited dozens of special guests to virtually attend this unique event and will hold a sweepstakes to give away $100,000 in VISA gift cards.

The celebration will air live on H-E-B’s YouTube channel starting at 7 p.m. on May 20, finishing with a one-of-a-kind musical performance by Grammy-award winning artist Maren Morris, which can only be viewed live. The virtual event also will feature well-wishes and special appearances from a lineup of H-E-B Partners and dozens of famous Texans and celebrities, including Chuck Norris, and some friends from the San Antonio Spurs, Houston Astros and Houston Texans.

We’re also holding a sweepstakes¹ as part of our Graduation Celebration to give away $100,000 in VISA Gift Cards. As part of this sweepstakes, 200 Seniors will have a chance to win a $500 VISA gift card. To enter, graduating seniors can share what graduation looks like this year by posting photos and videos on Twitter or Instagram using #HEBGraduation and #Sweepstakes. The sweepstakes runs through May 21 at 11:59 p.m.

Following the event, the celebration will be posted on H-E-B’s YouTube channel. The Maren Morris concert will only be available during the live stream on YouTube.
