H-E-B unveiled the renovations it made to its North Hills H‑E‑B in Austin, which includes upgraded departments and larger product assortment
The nearly 100,000-square-foot store offers more to the north Austin community with renovations, upgrades, and an enhanced design to the store’s exterior. In addition to updating some of the store’s existing departments and services, the store now has upgraded and new departments such as:
- New Home by H-E-B department, with Haven + Key and Texas Proud home décor collections
- Dedicated H-E-B Curbside parking area
- Pharmacy with two-lane drive-thru and nutritional services
- Added accessibility and convenience with more checkout lanes, self-checkout options
- New full-service Meat counter
- New H-E-B Blooms Flower Bar
- Healthy Living department with bulk food items, supplements and nut grinding station
- Updated Bakery department with Tortilleria that offers a wide selection of artisan breads,
fresh tortillas made in house, large varieties of desserts, pastries, and cakes - Sushiya with handmade sushi selections made in-store daily, and Sushiya Grill offerings
- As the #1 beer and wine retailer in Texas, the store has an expanded beer and wine
- Beauty department with a wide selection of cosmetics and other beauty items
- Relocated Frozen Food department with expanded assortment
- New Dairy department with expanded assortment
- Expanded Texas Backyard offering outdoor essentials
Renovations on the store began in February 2021, and the store remained open during the renovation process. The North Hills H-E-B has served the Austin community since 1989.
Through its Spirit of Giving philosophy, H-E-B is passionately dedicated to its customers beyond its stores. To commemorate the occasion, H-E-B gifted local nonprofits a total of $15,000 with donations of $5,000 each to Davis Elementary School, Pop-Up Birthday, and Family Eldercare.
The North Hills H‑E‑B in Austin is open seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. and is located at 10710 Research Blvd., Ste. 200, Austin.
