The 36th Annual H-E-B Tree Lighting Celebration in San Antonio Goes Virtual

H-E-B’s Christmas gift to the City of San Antonio arrived at Travis Park before the Thanksgiving holiday and preparations quickly began to deck the nearly 50-foot Con Color Christmas tree with more than 10,000 red, white and blue lights and dozens of handmade ornaments.

For the first time ever, the H-E-B Tree Lighting will be a virtual event. To protect the health and safety of our community, the 36th Annual H-E-B Tree Lighting will take place on H-E-B’s YouTube channel starting at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 27. The tree lights will be illuminated for the first time at 7:20 p.m. and will be followed by musical entertainment from Mariachi Las Altenas.
