H-E-B opens Mid-Cities store to serve Hurst-Euless-Bedford community in North Texas

New store includes 50th True Texas BBQ location in the state

H-E-B officially opened its Mid-Cities H-E-B store, making it the 12th H-E-B location the retailer has opened in the DFW Metroplex. Along with this newest location, the company also opened its 50th True Texas BBQ restaurant.  

The 126,000-square-foot Mid-Cities H-E-B joins 11 other H-E-B stores and three Joe V’s Smart Shop locations the retailer has opened in the area since 2022. H-E-B also operates six Central Market locations throughout north Texas.

The new store is at 2105 Rio Grande Blvd. in Euless, which is located at the northwest corner of Cheek-Sparger Road and Rio Grande Blvd. in Tarrant County. The store is open seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Inside and out, the new store reflects the unique character of the Hurst-Euless-Bedford community. The store design also emphasizes environmental sustainability, incorporating several energy efficient inclusions such as CO2 refrigeration units and LED lighting.

In the DFW area, H-E-B has opened H-E-B stores in Plano, McKinney, Allen, Alliance, Mansfield, Melissa, Prosper, Rockwall, Forney, and two stores in Frisco. Additionally, H-E-B has officially announced plans for stores in Irving, Murphy, Walsh Ranch, Carrollton, and Denton. Last year, the retailer also purchased land in Dallas at Hillcrest Road and LBJ Freeway, a site being considered for the company’s first H-E-B store in the city of Dallas.
