New store includes 50th True Texas BBQ location in the state
H-E-B officially opened its Mid-Cities H-E-B store, making it the 12th H-E-B location the retailer has opened in the DFW Metroplex. Along with this newest location, the company also opened its 50th True Texas BBQ restaurant.
The 126,000-square-foot Mid-Cities H-E-B joins 11 other H-E-B stores and three Joe V’s Smart Shop locations the retailer has opened in the area since 2022. H-E-B also operates six Central Market locations throughout north Texas.
The new store is at 2105 Rio Grande Blvd. in Euless, which is located at the northwest corner of Cheek-Sparger Road and Rio Grande Blvd. in Tarrant County. The store is open seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Filled with exciting amenities and innovations that H-E-B is known for, the Mid-Cities store has distinctive features such as a True Texas BBQ restaurant with drive-thru; full-service H-E-B Pharmacy with drive-thru; fuel station with car wash; and H-E-B Curbside and Home Delivery services with a large Curbside parking area.

Inside and out, the new store reflects the unique character of the Hurst-Euless-Bedford community. The store design also emphasizes environmental sustainability, incorporating several energy efficient inclusions such as CO2 refrigeration units and LED lighting.

In the DFW area, H-E-B has opened H-E-B stores in Plano, McKinney, Allen, Alliance, Mansfield, Melissa, Prosper, Rockwall, Forney, and two stores in Frisco. Additionally, H-E-B has officially announced plans for stores in Irving, Murphy, Walsh Ranch, Carrollton, and Denton. Last year, the retailer also purchased land in Dallas at Hillcrest Road and LBJ Freeway, a site being considered for the company’s first H-E-B store in the city of Dallas. The retailer also has opened three Joe V’s Smart Shop stores in the DFW area, which include two in Dallas and one store in Irving.
As a multi-format retailer, H-E-B operates Joe V’s Smart Shop and Central Market stores throughout Texas, as well as Mi Tienda store formats in Houston. H-E-B also owns Favor Delivery, a fast and convenient delivery service that serves cities across the state.
