The store features a True Texas BBQ, Curbside service and more

H-E-B officially opened its first H-E-B store in Irving, making it the latest addition to the retailer’s expansion in the DFW Metroplex. Located at 2351 West Interstate 635, the store, which is the first H-E-B in Dallas County, will provide convenient shopping for Irving, Coppell, Grapevine, and West Dallas residents. The H-E-B store joins Joe V’s Smart Shop in serving the Irving community.

At 112,000 square feet, the Irving H-E-B joins 12 other H-E-B stores, three Joe V’s Smart Shop locations, and six Central Market stores in the DFW Metroplex. The Irving H-E-B is open seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The Irving H-E-B features exciting amenities such as a True Texas BBQ restaurant with drive-thru, H-E-B Curbside and Home Delivery services with a large Curbside parking area, and full-service H-E-B Pharmacy with drive-thru.

Customers will also notice the expanded hot food offerings with several breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. Alongside a wide Meal Simple section, the store offers Asian grill items such as rice and noodle bowls, True Texas BBQ favorites, True Texas Boil House seafood selections, hot soups, and bakery goods. The first in the company, H-E-B introduced, at this location, Masala House, an H-E-B product line that offers customers meal options made in-house daily such as chicken masala, butter chicken, naan, chutney, and more.

Inside and out, the new store reflects the unique character of the Irving community. The store design also emphasizes environmental sustainability, incorporating several energy efficient inclusions such as CO2 refrigeration units and LED lighting.

Through its Spirt of Giving philosophy, H-E-B commemorated the store’s grand opening with donations totaling $40,000 for local, Irving-based nonprofits. Four separate gifts of $10,000 will support the Irving Family Advocacy Center’s counseling and support services, Level Pathways’ care of homeless youth, the Coppell ISD Education Foundation’s classroom grants and STEM programs, and the Canine Companions’ work in providing service dogs to veterans and individuals with disabilities.

In the DFW area, H-E-B also has opened H-E-B stores in Plano, McKinney, Allen, Alliance, Mansfield, Melissa, Prosper, Rockwall, Forney, and two stores in Frisco. Additionally, H-E-B has officially announced plans for stores in Murphy, Walsh Ranch, Carrollton, and Denton. H-E-B owns land in Dallas at Hillcrest Road and LBJ Freeway, the site where the company plans to build its first H-E-B store in the city of Dallas.
