Two new Joe V’s Smart Shops coming to Houston area

Continuing its expansion in Texas, Joe V’s Smart Shop has plans to open two new stores in Houston. The stores will be located near the City Park community at 1227 W. Orem Drive near Highway 288 and in Humble at 19611 US-59 near Interstate 69. With work already underway, the 57,000-square-foot stores are expected to open next year – with the Humble location in early 2027 and the Orem Drive store in late 2027.

Joe V’s Smart Shop is an innovative price format focused on offering the freshest, highest-quality products at the best prices including fresh produce, in-store cut meats, breads and tortillas made in store, and sushi made daily. 

The two locations will also be the first Joe V’s Smart Shops to offer H-E-B South Flo Pizza. The freshly made pizzas will be handcrafted in-house daily as an available grab-and-go meal option. These locations will also offer Home Delivery to serve even more customers throughout the community and surrounding neighborhoods.

At Joe V’s Smart Shop, customers will find many conveniences and departments with high-quality, fresh products including:

  • A wide variety of fresh in-store cut meat, chicken, and seafood options.

  • Fresh produce delivered daily to the stores and a wide assortment of    fresh-cut, ready-to-serve fruits and vegetables, and 3 pounds of
    bananas for $1.

  • Bakery featuring in-store made tortillas, pastries, breads, and bolillos, which are 8 for $1.

  • H-E-B Meal Simple selection with fresh, convenient chef-inspired meals.

  • Sushiya offering handmade sushi selections made in-store daily and an Asian grill with rice bowls, teriyaki, and more.

  • Introducing H-E-B’s South Flo Pizza, freshly made and handcrafted
    in-house daily as an available grab-and-go meal option.
  • Joe V’s Bundle boxes, which start at $20, are affordable and packed with seasoned meats that families will reach for all week!

  • Expansive Latino cheese selection.

  • Selections in grocery and general merchandise departments including    dairy, frozen foods, seasonal items, cookware, small appliances, and toys.
