H-E-B restaurants launch fundraiser to combat hunger in Texas

Throughout February, when Texans enjoy a delicious meal at one of H-E-B’s many family-friendly restaurants, H-E-B will donate a portion of each sale to help combat hunger in the Lone Star State. The effort is part of its annual Hunger Stops Here campaign, a charitable event benefiting Texas food banks and organizations.

The campaign will be held at H-E-B restaurants, including True Texas BBQ, 3009 Restaurant & Bar, Oaks Crossing, Café Mueller and Table 620. Throughout February, a portion of every transaction at the restaurants will be donated to food banks and organizations dedicated to hunger initiatives. The effort also will benefit from orders placed with Favor Delivery, an on-demand delivery service available in more than 100 cities throughout Texas. Customers can place orders with Favor through the Favor app and favordelivery.com.

The Hunger Stops Here campaign is a part of H-E-B’s Food Bank Assistance Program, which works year-round to raise awareness and battle hunger. The program was founded in 1982 and since then H-E-B has donated more than 1 billion pounds of food to 5,500 nonprofit organizations in Texas and Mexico.
