Applauded for its great pay, benefits, growth opportunities and values, H-E-B was named a top workplace as part of Glassdoor’s Employees’ Choice Best Places to Work in 2020.
This year, H-E-B made the list in the top 20, coming in at #17, which makes the San Antonio-based company the highest ranked Texas retailer on the list.
As part of the recruiting site’s Employees’ Choice Awards, the rankings are based entirely on employee feedback shared anonymously on Glassdoor. In the reviews, one employee stated that at H-E-B “people really do matter,” and that the company provides “terrific work/life balance” and has a “positive, friendly atmosphere, talented colleagues, and defined long-term vision.” In another review, an employee describes H-E-B as a “fast pace environment that is constantly changing and exciting.”
